Support of the Olympic Committee of Spain to the idea of joint organization of the Winter Olympic Games Barcelona - Sarajevo 2030. President of the Olympic Committee of Spain Mr. Alejandro Blanco Bravo supported the idea of a joint candidacy.

Today, as part of the second day of the Session of the General Assembly of ANOC, the President Mr. Marijan Kvesić and Vice Presidents prof. dr. Milanko Mučibabić and prof.dr. Izet Rađo held a meeting on the topic of joint organization of the Winter Olympic Games, which would be organized by the Spanish city - Barcelona and the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina - Sarajevo.

President of the Spanish Olympic Committee Mr. Alejandro Blanco Bravo expressed great support for the idea and the joint candidacy. After last week's presentation of the idea of a joint candidacy in Ljubljana to the Olympic Committees of the Central and Southeast European region, this is a new step towards submitting an official candidacy to the International Olympic Committee.

In addition to President Blanco Bravo, the meeting was attended by Ms. Victoria Cabezas - Member of the Executive Committee of the European Olympic Committees and Secretary-General of OC Spain.
