After Bosnia and Herzegovina won the title of Balkan champion last year, at the Balkan championship in Albania, this year the taekwondo national team defended its title and won the title of Balkan champion for the second time in a row.

At the 23rd Balkan Taekwondo Championship, which took place in Sarajevo from November 23-25, 2023. year, over 600 competitors from 11 countries took part, and Bosnia and Herzegovina left behind Turkey and Serbia in the overall standings.
