On the occasion of marking 40 years since WOG '84 Sarajevo, on February 12, 2024, a presentation of curling and the rules of the game was held in the Skenderija Center, in the "Mirza Delibašić" sports hall.

President of OC BiH, academician prof. Dr. Izet Rađo and Vice President Prof. Dr. Milanko Mučibabić were hosted by representatives of the BiH Karling Association, Miro Klepić, president of the Association and prof. Dr. Vladan Savić, member of the Board of Directors of the Association and coach of the BiH curling team.

Also, this interesting event was attended by Gregor Rigler, Secretary General of the Slovenian Curling Association and our former Olympian, speed skater Bibija Kerla.

The 7th and 8th grade students who were part of this event took their first steps in this sport.

On this occasion, an exhibition match was held between the BiH Senior National Team in Carling, which is also preparing for the European Championship in Scotland, and the Junior National Team, which performed at the EYOF 2023 in Friuli Venezia Giulia.

After the end, special gifts were exchanged. The Presidency of OC BIH presented the hosts with retro tracksuits from the time of WOG '84.

The Olympic Committee of BiH would like to thank the Curling Federation of BiH and the management of the Skenderija Center - "Mirza Delibašić" for being great hosts to the Curling Federation of BiH.

During the celebration of the 40th anniversary of ZOI '84, curling will be promoted at five locations.
