For the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Professor Crnogorac said: “I am extremely honored to be the winner of this prestigious award, which is awarded by the Emperor of Japan through the Government of Japan to those people who have made significant progress in certain areas. Therefore, in my case, the efforts I made to popularize judo in BIH were recognized. Decades of experience in sports have aroused special interest. Namely, I have been actively present in sports for 55 years, and I have been a coach for 45 years, and of course many athletes, top and most trophy-winning athletes, have passed through my schools and academies. Of great interest is my contribution to the friendship between BIH and Japan, where I organized and actively worked on the promotion of Japanese culture in a special way and with available funds, very often through competitions. Therefore, in addition to the results in judo, my contribution to the improvement of understanding between BIH and Japan was recognized, and all this was crowned in a certain way with this great recognition. I am one of the happiest people on the planet and this recognition is gained once in a lifetime”.
