During the medal awarding ceremony in the taekwondo category up to 74 kg, in which BIH Olympian Nedžad Husić won the silver medal, the President of the NOC BIH, Prof. Dr. Milanko Mučibabić delivered the medals.

President of the NOC BIH Prof. Dr. Mučibabić said on this occasion: "This is the first taekwondo medal for Bosnia and Herzegovina at the European Games and the first medal for the BIH team at the Krakow Malopolska Games 2023. I am happy and proud that I was the one who had the honor of awarding the silver medal of golden shine to our Nedžad. We believe in him and hope that he will make us proud in Paris next year as well."

The medal awarding ceremony was also attended by the vice president of the NOC BIH academician Izet Rađo.

The Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina once again send sincere congratulations to Nedžad Husić, the Taekwondo Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, coach Haris Husić and Prof. Dr. Safet Kapi, who joined the professional team of our Olympian.
