Thirteen bh. athletes signed scholarship agreements with OC BiH

At the suggestion of the Commission for Top Sports of the OK BiH and with the Decision of the Executive Committee of the OK BiH, thirteen athletes today signed scholarship agreements with the Olympic Committee of BiH through the implementation of the IOC Olympic Solidarity project for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. The signing was attended by the leaders of the Olympic Committee of BiH, President Prof. Dr. Milanko Mučibabić, Vice Presidents prof. dr. Izet Rađo and Marijan Kvesić, and Secretaries General of Sports Associations of BiH.

Nedzad Husic said "It is a great honor for me to be an Olympic scholarship holder, and I thank the BiH Olympic Committee for this support. I also hope that all scholarship holders will achieve the norm for the upcoming Paris Games.

My competition season has already started and I have achieved remarkable results. I am preparing for the next competitions, the European Championship awaits me after that the Mediterranean Games and the Grand Prix I qualified for. I hope for better success and I can't wait to perform in the next competitions. I wish all the scholarship holders the best results and a lot of success in the next competitions. "

"This is a significant contribution of the BiH Olympic Committee to our best athletes in order to qualify and realize our and their Olympic dreams at the upcoming Summer Olympic Games to be held in Paris in 2024, and we hope that we will not remain alone in this support.", are the words of the President of the OK BiH, prof. dr. Milanko Mučibabić.

Although the Olympic Committee of BiH as an association of citizens is not responsible for financing sports, we expect that other institutions that have this competence and task will recognize the importance of investing in the best athletes at this time to have enough time and resources to prepare and achieve expected high results.
