Together we build sustainable changes through good practices of the European Union

This month, the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina begins a two-year journey through the Erasmus+ project "Raising the capacity of women in leading processes and making decisions in sports in the countries of the Western Balkans" (Women4Sport). In Sarajevo, from February 21 to 23, 2024, as part of the Erasmus+ project, financed by the European Commission, a two-day kick-off meeting will be held in the premises of the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Women4Sport generally promotes gender equality in leadership and decision-making in the top management of National Olympic Committees in Western Balkan countries by promoting structural changes in governance, improving understanding of existing cultural barriers and encouraging NOCs to work with their federations to create sustainable change.

Project partners: Verlab Institute; The Olympic Committee of Albania, the Montenegrin Olympic Committee, the Croatian Olympic Committee, the Olympic Committee of Slovenia and the non-governmental organization BRAVO BiH, and we, the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina, are taking over the coordinating baton in this project.
