TOKYO 2020 #100DaysToGo!

Today is marked 100 days until the beginning of the XXXII Olympic Games Tokyo 2020, which will be held from July 23 to August 8 this year.

The upcoming Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games have been postponed to 2021 by a decision of the Executive Committee of the International Olympic Committee on March 30, 2020, as a result of the proclamation of the COVID-19 pandemic. The Tokyo 2020 Olympics retained the visual identity and name of the Tokyo 2020 Games.

The specificity of these Games, apart from the postponement for 2021, is reflected in a series of measures that have been adopted and updated in accordance with the development of the situation, and including special Regulations for all participants in this highest international multisport event. The IOC Executive Board, after a meeting of relevant parties involved in the organization of the Games, decided to limit the number of accredited persons to those who have an essential and operational role in the organization and delivery of the Games. In addition, a decision was made that the games will be held without overseas spectators.

Despite the limiting circumstances, the IOC and the Tokyo 2020 Organizing Committee are working on solutions of modern IT technology that will enable participants to experience the Olympic spirit and experience of the Olympic Games during their stay and competition at the Games.

To this day, around the world, the Olympic family has appropriately marked the 100 days leading up to the Olympic Games. The Olympic Committee of BiH, along with so far qualified athletes, joined the digital celebration with the message "Let's support #BHTeam!".

Qualifications for the Olympic Games are still ongoing, and for now the members of the "BHTeam" Olympic Games in Tokyo are Amel Tuka (Athletics, 800m), Mesud Pezer (Athletics, shot put), Larisa Cerić (Judo, +78kg) i Lana Pudar (Swimming, 100m butterfly).
