At the World Triathlon congress held on November 27, 2022. in Abu Dhabi, the Triathlon and Pentathlon Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina was admitted to full membership.

After TPSBiH, with the support of the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina, applied for World Triathlon membership, all full members could vote at the 35th WT Congress. All proposed new members were accepted into full membership by a large majority of votes.

Membership in World Triathlon opens up new opportunities for the development of triathlon in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The triathlon competitors, the national team members of Bosnia and Herzegovina, can look forward the most, for whom the way is opened for participation in European and world competitions.
