Vice President of the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina, prof. Dr. Milanko Mučibabić, as part of the preparations for the 40th anniversary of the "Sarajevo 1984" Winter Olympic Games, visited the City Administration of East Sarajevo, where he was he was hosted by the mayor of East Sarajevo, Mr. Ljubiša Ćosić, and the Jahorina Olympic Center where he was hosted by the director Mr. Dejan Ljevnajic.

In addition to celebrating the 40th anniversary of the WOG "Sarajevo 1984", the meetings also discussed the idea of the City of Sarajevo, together with the Olympic venues in East Sarajevo, to be a candidate to host the prestigious Olympic competition of the World Youth Olympic Games (YOG).

Mayor of East Sarajevo Ljubiša Ćosić and director of OC Jahorina Dejan Ljevnajić enthusiastically supported both projects, and expressed their desire to host the highest world and European Olympic delegation in Jahorina as part of the celebration of the 40th anniversary of the WOG "Sarajevo 1984".
