The meeting discussed plans and projects aimed at the development of kickboxing in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the application of the Kickboxing Federation of BiH for membership in the Olympic family of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the category of non-Olympic sports, which will be considered at the 4th regular General Assembly of the NOC BIH.

President Salim Kayici expressed great satisfaction that kickboxing will be on the program of the European Games, which would be the best recommendation to the International Olympic Committee to include kickboxing in the program of some of the next Olympic Games, which would make kickboxing an Olympic sport.

The BIH Olympic Committee has always supported all federations and sports that aim to promote and improve BIH sports and Olympic values and strengthen the sports system in Bosnia and Herzegovina, in accordance with the Olympic Charter and the rules of the International Olympic Committee and the European Olympic Committees.
