WAKO EUROPEAN KICKBOXING CHAMPIONSHIP SENIORS & MASTERS

The European senior kickboxing championship, which is held in the Turkish city of Antalya, ends on November 20, and with yesterday's performances in one final and two semi-final fights, all the representatives of Bosnia and Herzegovina finished their competition at this championship.

Our national team finished this European Championship with one silver and three bronze medals.

The best result was achieved by Jasmina Merdić, who was defeated by the Croatian Nives Radić in the final fight for the title of European champion in the low kick +70 kg discipline.

Edin Vučelj (kick light - 89 kg) was stopped in the semi-final fights, who was better than the Spaniard Juan Machin De Quintana and Nikola Drobnjak (low kick - 81 kg), who lost to the Croatian Gaj Ćosić. They won bronze medals, and the bronze medal was previously won by Mesud Selimović (low kick -91 kg).

The Bosnia and Herzegovina national team consisted of 18 competitors, 13 in the men's and five in the women's competition. In the women's competition, in addition to Jasmine Merdić, who won the medal, Edina Halilović, Doris Živković (low kick), Adna Hodžić and Ivana Radić (kick light) also performed.

The male part of the national team, in addition to the three medalists Mesud Selimović, Nikola Drobnjak and Edin Vučenje, also included: Rijad Kasapović, Wael Mejri, Jasmin Ramić, Amar Lugan, Harun Sinanović, Vedad Ćutuk (low kick), Sanjin Alihodžić, Albert Ugrinčić (K1), Faris Svraka and Miloš Golić (kick light).

The coaching part of the team was led by the selector Salko Zildžić, and coaches: Adnan Redžović, Senad Ćatić, Asmar Imamović, Dimitrije Jovanović, Šemso Šabanović, Elvedin Dubravac, Vedad Mulaomerović and Ermin Lugan. Judges from Bosnia and Herzegovina Neđo Bratić and Dragana Vitković also participated in the championship.
