In the Polish city of Chiechanow, in the period from 18 to 27 August 2021, the European U15 and U17 Championships were held. In the competition of 402 competitors, our Nejla Kalača took an excellent eighth place in Europe in the category up to 45 kg, in the competition U15.

With 4 successful attempts, she made an excellent result and improved the BiH records in the 45 kg category. The success is even greater because this is the best placement of all competitors from the region.

The Weightlifting Association points out that Nejla Kalača is improving her form month to month, and they are hoping for medals in the upcoming competitions. Also, next month, in Finland, Rovaniemi will host the European U20 and U23 Championships, where Faris Durak will compete in the 67 kg category in the U20 competition, and we wish him a successful performance.
