On the Flag Square in the Sports Village EI Minsk 2019 tonight at 6 P.M., a Welcome Ceremony was organized for all teams, participants of the European Games.

After gathering teams from all European countries, the Ceremony began with the ceremonial raising of three flags: the host country - the Republic of Belarus, the European Olympic Committee and the European Games Minsk 2019. The flags of the participating countries were previously displayed on the masts. The teams were addressed by the leaders and representatives of the European Olympic Committee, the Republic of Belarus and the EI Minsk 2019 Organizing Committee, followed by an entertaining part of the program for athletes.

Also, as part of the ceremony, athletes and heads of missions of all participating countries, according to the custom of the hosts, planted an oak tree as a symbol of peace.

In accordance with the draw and updating the schedule, BiH athletes will record their first performances tomorrow, when boxers Džemal Bošnjak (category-91kg) and Dušan Veletić (category + 91kg) will have fights.
