As part of the "International Day of Sports for Development and Peace", which is celebrated on April 6, the NOC BIH and the best BIH luge athlete Mirza Nikolajev join the global campaign @peaceandsport, and raise the #WhiteCard as a sign of commitment to peace efforts around the world.

According to the international organization Peace and Sport, which promotes peace using the power of sport, #WhiteCard, "as a reference to yellow and red cards in the world of sports, does not call for punishment, but for the global promotion of peace."

Sports-based initiatives are key to encouraging the building of inclusive and peaceful societies, therefore OK BiH joins Olympians and sports organizations around the world in promoting sports as a means of creating progress, strengthening equality, and promoting a culture of peace.
