WORK REPORT OF THE BIH OLYMPIC COMMITTEE

We present to you the work report of the Olympic Committee of BiH for the term 10.11.2020. - 10.03.2022. (16 months).

Through its activities, the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina contributes to strengthening the global reputation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and through sports, sports bodies and sports organizations cooperate with international sports organizations and institutions.

Despite all the challenges it has faced in the past 16 months, the BiH Olympic Committee has worked diligently to implement numerous projects of the International Olympic Committee, Olympic Solidarity, European Olympic Committees and the European Commission.

During the term of office, during the presidency of Mr. Marijan Kvesić, Olympic scholarship projects were realized for both the Tokyo Olympics and the Beijing Winter Olympics, financial support was provided for evident participants in the Games through the Tokyo + and Continental Grants projects, and young Olympic hopes were recognized.

Also, the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina successfully organized the preparations and departure of our top athletes to the Tokyo 2020 Olympics and the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics, which were attended by a total of 13 Olympians.

At the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics, the best result of Bosnian sports in the history of the Games was achieved, which is the 5th place of taekwondoist Nedzad Husić, as well as at the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics where Elvedina Muzaferija recorded the best result in the women's alpine skiing competition.
