XIV WINTER OLYMPIC GAMES "BEIJING 2022" ARE OPENED

The XXIV Winter Olympic Games "Beijing 2022" were officially opened at the spectacular ceremony on February 4, 2022 in the capital of China, by lighting the Olympic flame.

The opening ceremony began with a countdown from the number 24, which represents 24 solar terms, while the opening day of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics coincides with the first term, which is spring. Therefore, the first performance was the birth of spring in the form of a dandelion swaying in the rhythm of the wind. The first performance ended with fireworks, which wrote the words SPRING in the sky.

The second point of the Ceremony began with waves that soon condensed into a crystal ice cube. With the help of 24 laser beams, all the cities hosting the Winter Olympic Games were inscribed, including Sarajevo 1984! After the end of the second point and after the host of the XXIV Winter Olympic Games Beijing 2022, the Olympic circles emerged from the ice cube, and the host expressed his respect for the Olympic spirit and all the cities hosting the Winter Olympic Games.

This marked the beginning of the ceremonial parade of nations participating in the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics, which was opened by representatives of the cradle of the Olympic Games Greek delegations, followed by a parade of the remaining 90 delegations according to the alphabet of the host country.

Bosnia and Herzegovina went to the National Stadium "Bird's Nest" in Beijing as the 50th delegation in a row. The BH delegation of 6 athletes was led by flag bearers Elvedina Muzaferi (alpine skiing) and Mirza Nikolajev (luge), and the last in a row was the delegation of the host of the Games - the Olympic team of China.

After the ceremonial parade of nations participating in the Winter Olympic Games, the point "one world, one family" followed, which was presented through the formation of one big snowflake with the names of 91 delegations or NOCs participating in these Winter Olympic Games.

Jiawen Zhao (Nordic combined) and Dinigeer Yilamujiang (cross-country skiing) had the honor of lighting the Olympic flame at the Bird's Nest National Stadium.
