The Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina held the first online meeting of the project team within the project "Strengthening The Employment Perspective in Disability Sport Sector - STEPin" funded by the European Union under the IPA II Cross-border Cooperation Program Serbia - Bosnia and Herzegovina 2014 -2020 with the support of the Ministry of European Integration of the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Directorate for European Integration of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Funds intended for the implementation of the project amount to EUR 141,347.73, and the European Union co-finances it in the amount of EUR 120,145.57. The contracting authority for this project is the Ministry of Finance, Sector for Contracting and Financing of Programs from European Union Funds (CFCU) of the Republic of Serbia.

The main goal of the project is to facilitate employment opportunities in sports for people with disabilities and help establish new services through the transfer of knowledge and jobshadowing activities.

This is the first coordination project of cross-border cooperation for the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and together we will implement it with our partners Paralympic Committee of BiH, Faculty of Sports and Physical Education, University of Novi Sad and Taekwondo Club Zmaj from Ruma.

STEP together with us in the realization of project activities through which we will:

•  Explore employment needs in the sports sector for people with disabilities

• Create new employment opportunities in the sports sector for people with disabilities

•  Develop complementary educational sessions with the aim of acquiring new skills

• Establish STEPin platforms for the promotion of newly acquired skills and employment opportunities in the sports sector for people with disabilities

• Organize STEPin employment fair
